“Tenuta Tamburnin” Winery and Resort receives you in the area of Castelnuovo don Bosco, in the middle of the so-called “Terre dei Santi” (“Lands of Saints”), famous for wines and truffles; these hills gave birth to some important Saints and benefactors, such as Saint Giovanni Bosco and Saint Domenico Savio.

This Estate was established in the second half part of the Eighteenth century and belongs to Gaidano family since 2004; Mister Piergiorgio and his three daughters represent nowadays the family, collaborating in the company’s managing.

The property includes twenty hectares of land, nine of which cultivated with vines and two with hazelnut trees; the rest is divided into lawns, woods and a small vegetable garden for the family use.

The Winery.

In “Tenuta Tamburnin” the principles of eco-friendliness regulate the agricultural activity, reducing the use of chemical treatments to the strictly necessary quantity, with positive effects for the goodness of production and health of environment and consumer.

The vineyards produce both local grapes, such as Freisa e Malvasia, and international, for example Chardonnay e Sauvignon Blanc. Among the wines that you can taste in this Estate you can find “Piemonte doc Chardonnay”, “Freisa d’Asti”, “Barbera d’Asti docg Superiore”, and the valued Vermut, produced mixing white wines with a special selection of herbs and spices, such as Pancalieri mint, wormwood and cloves.

The Resort.

“Tenuta Tamburnin” makes available to the guests four rooms, furnished with style and provided with comfort; they are the result of an accurate restoration that preserved the original Eighteenth-century building.

The guests can enjoy breakfast in the cozy and refined “winter garden”, to spend some hours in total tranquility.

Location for Events.

“Tenuta Tamburnin”is the perfect place for who wants to organize an exclusive and refined event, such as parties, meetings for companies and artistic exhibitions. The antique barn dated to the Nineteenth century, recently restored, can house up to 200 guests, offering a breathtaking panoramic view over the vineyards around thanks to the big arches. The courtyard and the garden are available to set outside aperitifs and dinners.
